TOKYO, Japan – 28 October 2026 – Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. today announced Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3, the latest title in the long-running Battle Operation series, during the Gundam Games 40th anniversary livestream. The free-to-play team combat game is coming to PlayStation®5, PC via Steam® and cross-play will be available with simultaneous operation, bringing enhanced visuals, expanded Mobile Suit combat, and new tactical gameplay features to the battlefield.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 delivers a new level of battlefield immersion through high-fidelity visuals, detailed Mobile Suits, and a large-scale combat that brings the Gundam universe to life. Players will enlist as mercenaries and pilot a diverse roster of legendary Mobile Suits in large-scale team battles where Mobile Suits and infantry fight side by side.

As the latest free-to-play entry in the Battle Operation series, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 evolves the franchise's signature combined-arms gameplay. Beyond battling enemy Mobile Suits, players can leave the cockpit to plant base bombs, request support fire, and secure strategic objectives on foot.
Mobile Suits from both Universal Century and Alternative Universe Gundam series will fight side by side, beginning with Mobile Suit Gundam SEED available at launch, with additional iconic series planned for future updates. Team combat is also enhanced through the introduction of SP Skills, unique abilities that reinforce each Mobile Suit's combat identity and strategic role.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 also introduces a new Battle Assist feature, a refined user interface designed to help players execute combos more easily, and cross-play support between PlayStation 5 and Steam, allowing players to battle together across platforms.
