EPIC GAMES PROMOTES UNREAL ENGINE AND UEFN EXPERIENCE AT BIG FESTIVAL 2023
The event runs from June 28th to July 2nd in São Paulo, and all Fortnite fans will have the opportunity to experience Unreal Engine games and creative experiences built with UEFN and talk with the developers behind them. Epic's booth will feature games such as Horizon Chase 2 and Fortnite, where attendees can go hands-on with the Battle Royale and creator-made islands developed using UEFN and Fortnite Creative. Unreal Engine developers including Mad Mimic, Surprise, Hero Base, and more, will also join Epic at the show to be a part of this unprecedented experience in Brazil.
Introduced at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) earlier this year, UEFN is a version of the Unreal Editor that lets you create and publish experiences directly in Fortnite. With many of Unreal Engine 5’s powerful features at your fingertips, creators and developers have a whole world of new creative options for producing games and experiences that can be enjoyed by millions of Fortnite players. Since 2018, it's been possible to create a unique and custom island in Fortnite thanks to the Fortnite Creative toolset. Today there are over a million creator-made islands which account for approximately 40% of the playing time in Fortnite.
