April 22, 2021 - Shanghai, China - Naval Shoot’ Em up mobile game, Azur Lane will be starting the Daedalian Hymn event on April 22 and ending on May 5. In this update, Azur Lane presents 8 new characters to expand the ship reserve of the Sardegna Empire, which will usher in new mechanisms and challenges for maritime operations. Besides, the Daedalian Hymn event also brings delicate swimsuit outfits, portrait frames, Sardegnian style furniture set and tons of rewards for a limited time.

Event Maps & Rewards
With a storied history and splendid scenery, the Sardegna Empire is capturing everyone’s hearts. For the event map, various amount of event points will be rewarded to players when they clear each map. However, when players clear the SP map, they will obtain 800 points. Additionally, B and D maps will be opened from April 23, 12:00 P.M. (UTC-7) for players to experience the second part of the story. The more points players accumulate, the more rewards they can redeem from the event shop.
Moreover, players can fully limit break the event characters and complete missions using phase 1 characters (Littorio, Aurora, Nelson, Gloucester) to obtain enough points to exchange for the limited portrait frame — Pride of Sardegna.

New Characters
Numerous fresh faces appear in Daedalian Hymn, mainly consisting of Sardegna Empire shipgirls. Three super rare characters have arrived: Vittorio Veneto, the infamous leader of the Sardegna Empire, her skills allow her to buff her faction members and launch a powerful barrage; Aquila, as the first aircraft carrier for the Sardegna Empire, is able to be offensive and defensive at the same time; and Duca degli Abruzzi, she specializes in torpedo attacks that has a shortened launch time, which would prove to be a great asset for the commanders. There are also 5 elite characters: Maestrale, Libeccio, Nicoloso da Recco, Torricelli and Amagi-chan which will be available, enabling commanders to obtain and deploy them following their unique characteristics.
Amongst them, the Super Rare character Duca degli Abruzzi is obtainable in the event shop as well as a drop in the event map, while Torricelli serves as the milestone reward for players and Amagi-chan can be obtained through participating in the Young Tactician's Learning Log mini-event. Except for Duca degli Abruzzi, the other 2 newly added super rare characters and 3 elite characters also enjoy the rate up in the Limited Construction Pool.
Event Shop and Skins
New furniture set—St. Manjuu Chapel with glamorous features is also obtainable for a limited time. Besides, the Daedalian Hymn Lucky Bag and other supply packs will also be available for purchase.
As for skins, there are up to 13 new arrivals in the Daedalian Hymn which include the Flower of La Spezia (Live2D) for Vittorio Veneto and Seaside Coincidence (Live2D) for Pola. Players can earn 2 rental outfit vouchers when they log in Azur Lane during the event period. Each voucher can be used on the following skins: Vittorio Veneto— The Flower of La Spezia，Pola— Seaside Coincidence and Duca degli Abruzzi— Lustrous Onyx Sirenetta.
