Even Darker Creatures
As if the horrors stalking protagonist Ana Lúcia in the shadows since Act 1 weren’t enough, three new shadowy beings, exclusive to Act 2, now lurk around her, ready to drag her into the darkness at the slightest misstep. Two other creatures return from Act 1, and players will be surprised to see them again… For better or worse. One of them, in fact, is back more ruthless than ever!
Regarding these malevolent beings, players should remain vigilant, as they are less predictable now, and some grow increasingly aggressive the lower Ana Lúcia’s sanity becomes.
Continue to explore every corner of Asleep’s universe, with its unique visual style that features realistic pixel art and fluid animations, in search of clues to unravel Ana Lúcia’s nightmares. In Act 2, players will also visit new, distinctly Brazilian locations, including a village in the northeastern backlands.
More Fluid and Immersive Gameplay
Players will notice that gameplay in Act 2 is less linear, offering more opportunities for exploration compared to the first chapter. There are more characters, obstacles, creatures, and a greater variety of puzzles. In addition to Ana Lúcia’s sketchbook, players now have a Walkman that can be used to listen to cassette tapes, adding to the lore and aiding in puzzle-solving.
