WINSTON-SALEM, JUNE 7, 2025 - As part of today's Wholesome Direct, Wholesome Games Presents and developer Poti Poti Studio are thrilled to announce that cozy puzzler Is This Seat Taken? will launch in August on Steam (Windows, MacOS, Linux), Google Play, and the App Store. Additionally, Wholesome Games Presents and developer Poti Poti Studio revealed for the first time that Is This This Taken? will also launch on Nintendo Switch in the same month.
Make your way through hilarious situations as Nat, an aspiring actor who must now play matchmaker for peculiar individuals that aren’t always keen to be seated next to one another. After all, who wants to sit next to someone who smells bad? You’ll need to figure out the perfect placement for everyone on Nat’s globetrotting journey.
About Is This Seat Taken?
Window seat or aisle? Booth or table? Lone wolf or life of the party? In Is This Seat Taken?, your mission is to organize groups of people according to their preferences. It’s a cozy, no-pressure logic puzzle game where you’re in charge of who sits where.
Whether it’s the cinema, a crowded bus, a wedding reception, or a cramped taxi cab, every setting introduces new characters with specific tastes. A party guest with a sensitive nose won’t be happy sitting next to a stranger who’s wearing too much cologne. A sleepy passenger won’t be happy trying to nap on the bus next to someone listening to loud music. It’s all about reading the room to find the perfect placement!
Nat is an aspiring actor whose world gets turned upside down when they see a shape just like them on the big screen. This discovery sends Nat on a global journey to meet their hero and figure out how to fit in. About Poti Poti Studio
Sergi Pérez Crespo (Art, Game Design) and Ausiàs Dalmau Roig (Programming, Game Design), the duo behind Poti Poti Studio, previously contributed to popular titles like You Suck At Parking and Scrabble Go. In June 2024, after Ausiàs was laid off, the two decided it was time to take a leap of faith and pursue indie game development. Sergi soon quit his job, and together they began working full-time on Is This Seat Taken?—a project born from their shared passion for relaxing 2D puzzle games.
