Border Base Launches on Kickstarter June 9 – Support the Colony Sim Where War Meets Strategy

London, UK – June 2025 – Indie game studio Bitzooma is excited to announce that its upcoming strategy title Border Base will launch a Kickstarter campaign on June 9, alongside its appearance in Steam Next Fest. The campaign will allow fans of colony sims and base-building games to support development and gain exclusive rewards as the game heads toward its Early Access release in 2025.

Set in a gritty, war-torn version of the 1960s, Border Base blends colony simulation, base-building, and tactical defense mechanics. Players take charge of a devastated border zone, rebuilding infrastructure, training soldiers, and managing key trade routes under constant threat.

“We've been working on Border Base for over two years, and Kickstarter is our chance to bring the community into the journey,” said Amir Dehnavi, Marketing Manager at Bitzooma. “This campaign will help us expand our systems, polish the game, and deliver an experience that fans of RimWorld, Oxygen Not Included, and strategy games will truly enjoy.”

Backers will be able to support Border Base at various pledge levels, including:

Bitzooma has structured its funding goals to be realistic and transparent, with stretch goals prepared to unlock deeper gameplay systems, new biomes, and expanded story content.

A playable Alpha demo is now live on Steam and will be featured in Steam Next Fest starting June 9. Players can try the game, explore core systems like farming, combat, and scheduling, and share feedback with the developers in real-time.
