CULVER CITY, CA -- October 22, 2020 -- It’s trick-or-treat time! Mobile idle RPG Zombieland: AFK Survival is celebrating its one-year anniversary with two Halloween-themed events. Starting today, players can test their survival skills by masking up as one of the four new heroes before hitting the road to kill and collect zombies. Initially launched as Zombieland: Double Tapper, Zombieland: AFK Survival is developed by Tilting Point and Metagame Studios, in partnership with Sony Pictures Television Games.
Zombieland: AFK Survival’s Halloween-themed updates include:
- Tower of Doom Event - Players must sharpen their survival skills as they climb a tower of murderous zombies to gather the new currency, The Crypt, which can be used to obtain Halloween rewards.
- Zombie Spinner Event - Players can spin the Zombie Spinner by watching rewarded videos in order to earn more Crypt currency
- New Masked Heroes - Joining the existing roster of heroes are masked vigilantes Tombstone, Salem and Zombieman & Brainboy. Moreover, players also have the opportunity to collect and upgrade their existing favorite movie characters to their max potential.
To further celebrate Zombieland: AFK Survival’s one-year anniversary, iOS players will receive an exclusive in-game bundle on October 22 and 23, giving them the opportunity to double their Crypt currency and maximize their rewards from the zombie spinner.
In Zombieland: AFK Survival, players embark on a wacky road trip across the post-apocalyptic wastelands of America that have been overrun by the undead. Whether playing as favorites Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock, or new characters from the film, players must slay zombies in dozens of missions in a cross-country road trip from the woods of New England to the beaches of California.
