October 27, 2026. Thrice Great Games today announced Null Signal, an open-world survival game coming to PC on Steam in 2027.
Null Signal is set after an AI called AXIS brought humanity down. Its machines still hunt the survivors, and nature is slowly taking back everything else. Players survive in that world on their own or in online co-op, and decide whether to side with nature or turn the technology that destroyed humanity to their own use.
Every new game generates its own world, from dry scrubland and overgrown forest up into the mountains. Empty towns and ruins sit along old highways, with caves and buried complexes below. Players build a base and can reshape the land around it, digging anything from a path to a tunnel or an underground bunker. AXIS raids the base more often as it grows, and players can strike back by taking down its Data Centers and other Bastions, then either destroying them or using the technology inside.
Null Signal is aimed at fans of Valheim, 7 Days to Die, Sons of the Forest and Rust.
