Following an established presence on PC (Steam), Beyond The Evil arrives on modern consoles to deliver a tense, self-contained mystery that deliberately replaces combat encounters with pure deductive logic, forensic investigation, and tactile environmental problem-solving.
A cold case, a sinister outbreak, and zero weaponsIn Beyond The Evil, players assume the role of private investigator Gary Nephew in 2019, answering a panicked, incoherent emergency call from a secluded Pennsylvania property. Upon arrival, Gary encounters a tragic crime scene and the disturbing residue of secret laboratory research involving a lethal contagion that threatens containment.
With no weapons to defend himself, Gary must rely strictly on intellect, keen observation, and communication with his investigative partner, Lukas Smith.
Players will examine crime scenes in detailed 3D, collect clues, crack combination locks, inspect hundreds of realistic objects, and uncover the grim truth behind the vanished Juniper family.
Every discovery builds toward a critical moral crossroads near the climax, unlocking two completely distinct narrative outcomes: a Good Ending and a Sad Ending.
