Shattered Heaven has already launched on Steam Early Access, inviting all players to take an active role in the game’s development. The team at Leonardo Productions will be rolling out regular updates, ensuring a constant evolution based on community feedback and requests. The development team recently a roadmap of future updates, among which the most noteworthy feature is the upcoming localization into three different languages, scheduled for completion by the end of the year:
- July 2023: the addition of the “New Game +” mode, new Hero, and new Neutral Cards will further enhance the gameplay experience, providing players with a more layered and personalized adventure.
- August 2023: the “Roguelike” mode will enter alpha, allowing all players to enjoy thrilling, arcade-style challenges.
- September 2023: new enemies and exciting trials will be available as the “Roguelike” mode undergoes further refinements.
- October/November 2023: Shattered Heaven will finally be available in its final form with the introduction of Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese localizations, providing a truly immersive experience for a wider audience.
Shattered Heaven was born out of a genuine inclination for experimentation and is characterized by its blend of genres and gameplay, as well as a narrative structure that places mature themes and inclusivity at the forefront by bringing to life multi-faceted characters within a ruthless and raw scenery. The game features a deep and immersive gameplay experience that intertwines seamlessly with its narrative focus. Players are able to explore intricate multi-level dungeons, assuming control of a three-member team, each with their own unique deck of cards and abilities. A well-structured character development and resource management system, reminiscent of classic role-playing games, allows for a personalized and adaptable experience that suits any play style. Additionally, the roguelike nature of the game, which is currently being enhanced, ensures that each playthrough is filled with variety and depth, greatly enhancing its replayability.
