New Release from Pokémon Quest!

Chinese Version of New Gen Pokémon is Available now!

The Chinese version of Pokémon Quest, co-developed by NetEase Games, The Pokémon Company, GAME FREAK Inc., is now officially launched a brand-new adventure event! New exclusive content, including the New Gen Pokémon, new island exploration, gameplay, and bonus, are all global debuts.

New challenges and gameplays in the explorations to the volcanic island.

After the trip to Tumblecube Island, explorers discovered a new island nearby where dangerous volcanoes are scattered with unique geomorphological features. And there are some quite special Pokémon living here! As an extension to the main plot that has never been included in the international version, this is a new adventure where players will land on a volcanic island and eventually confront with a BOSS-level challenge.

In addition to the new main plot, new updates and breakthroughs are in place for the gameplay.  There are main line cooperation and batch fighting available in the Chinese version, effectively improving the efficiency and success rate of exploration, and a more casual gaming experience. At the same time, the new Pokémon moves debut also greatly enriches the system and lineup collocation strategy.

The Pokémon moves updated in this Chinese version are as follows: the brand-new weather move "praying for rain", change the weather status into "rain", increasing the water type; the non-weather move "frozen teeth", biting your enemy with air-conditioned teeth, with the possibility to freeze them.

In addition, the updates in Chinese version also include the brand-new Pokémon daily cuisine: Tumblecube Baked Rice. Making cuisine to attract Pokémon has always been the favorite for players. The new cuisine can not only satisfy people’s yearning for cooking, but also attract the new Pokémon partners on this debut! There will also be more new daily cuisine in the future.

New GEN 2 Pokémon with more partners landing on the Tumblecube Island.

In the Chinese version Pokémon Quest, 12 new Pokémon from GEN2 have been included, who share familiar habits and characteristics with those in the Tumblecube Island but are in special lovely square shape.

Totodile, a blue-footed Pokémon that resembles small crocodile in appearance, has a black pattern next to its red eyes, four red horns on the back and tail, and yellowish V-stripes on the chest are its most prominent features. It likes to live by rivers and swamps, vibrant and active, full of curiosity about everything, and loves to bite moving objects with mouth. It has a well-developed lower jaw and strong bite force, so it can evolve into blue Croconaw and Feraligatr.

Chinchou is a Pokémon that lives in the dark deep sea. It has a blue body with yellow eyes and black cross-shaped pupils, looks like a fish, but has a pair of tiny feet and a pair of tentacles, each with a luminous body on the top, which can shine in the deep sea, like a small dark lantern. As a Water/Electric type Pokémon, it is good at defeating through shooting electricity, and can evolve into Lanturn.

Wooper lives in cold water, likes to bury half of its body in the underwater mud for sleep. When getting cold, it will go to the land for food. It is a dual-type Water/Ground Pokémon. Wooper is a mostly blue, with its skin covered with a moisturizing mucous membrane. It has lavender horns and three dark blue stripes on its belly. No arms, but the strong tail enables it to swim fast. Wooper can evolve into Quagsire, chubby and cute as well.

Marill is a dual-type Water/Fairy Pokémon with blue fur and white belly that are water-repellent. There is a blue, bubble-like ball at the tip of its zigzagging black tail. The tail is flexible and configured to stretch, and the ball is full of oil that acts as a buoy to help keep Marill afloat. With super ability in diving and swimming, it can anchor its tail around a tree when fishing at the edge of a fast-moving stream.

Corsola is a dual-type Water/Rock Pokémon who loves to live in warm and clean seawater. Its body is mainly pink with white abdomen and limbs. Behind it are four horns formed by coral branches, which will continue to grow and fall off, but will soon grow back. Rumor has it that the horns of Corsola have mysterious magic powers to protect the safety of pregnant women and the babies, therefore they are becoming quite popular treasure.

Remoraid’s body are mainly gray with two stripes near its tail, two big and round eyes in the head and a horn. It has a parasitic habit and can be attached to the giant-winged flying fish with its sucker-shaped dorsal fin, eating and swimming with each other. Although Remoraid may live likes a parasite, its own strength should not be underestimated. It is well known for its ability to shoot jets of water from the surface with incredible accuracy and distance, known as “sniper of the seas”. Evolving into the Octillery, it looks like an octopus but is particularly cute and likable.

A total of 12 NEW GEN Pokémon, including evolutions, will be officially launched as a limited edition in the Chinese version of the Pokémon Quest on September 16. At the same time, the Chinese version also promises to develop more Pokémon in the future, bringing more Pokémon partners for players.
