NETMARBLE BRINGS THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: ORIGIN AND MONGIL: STAR DIVE TO TOKYO GAME SHOW 2025

First Hands-on Demos and On-Site Events in Japan to Showcase Two Major Upcoming RPGs

LOS ANGELES - AUGUST 27, 2025 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, today announced that its upcoming action RPGs, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and MONGIL: STAR DIVE, will be showcased at Tokyo Games Show 2025 from September 25 to 28 in Japan. Both games will be available for hands-on demos and host special events designed to engage fans and collect live feedback from attendees.

Tokyo Game Show is one of the world’s largest gaming events, attracting global media and gamers alike. Netmarble has launched the official TGS 2025 teaser website, revealing teaser images and its lineup, with more details to be rolled out ahead of the event.

Based on The Seven Deadly Sins, the popular Japanese manga and anime IP with over 55 million copies sold worldwide, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG featuring an original, multiverse-based storyline. Players can collect heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse, as well as game-original characters, to customize their combat style and shape their own adventure. The game allows players to explore the continent of Britannia, engage in tag-based combat, unleash powerful combination skills, and enjoy ever-evolving action through different combinations of characters and weapons. In addition, players can join others for party play.

At TGS 2025, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be playable in Japan for the first time. The demo will offer three different content: a story mode for immersive narrative gameplay, an open-world mode to freely explore Britannia, and a boss time-attack featuring tense battles against demons from the original series.

The long-awaited sequel to the beloved 2013 mobile RPG Monster Taming, MONGIL: STAR DIVE introduces a rich, evolved experience driven by Unreal Engine 5 and a unique combat system based on "Tag Play," where players control a three-character party in dynamic, fast-paced battles. At the heart of the game is its monster collection system, allowing players to tame, collect, and synthesize a wide range of fantastical creatures.

Following its well-received public debut at gamescom 2025 in August, MONGIL: STAR DIVE will join global fans in Japan for the first time at TGS 2025. The playable build of MONGIL: STAR DIVE will let players embark on an adventure with protagonists Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners to collect and tame various monsters. Players will be able to experience additional characters such as Ophelia and Francis, enjoying the game’s expansive adventures and gameplay.

Netmarble will continue to release detailed information about The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and MONGIL: STAR DIVE at TGS 2025, as well as stage events, on the TGS 2025 special website leading up to the show.
