Metal Unit Adds Player-Designed Items in Free DLC

The action-platformer adds 9 new items to the game, designed by its fans, along with teasing massive free content updates coming this May

SEATTLE - March 29, 2022 | Metal Unit from Jellysnow Studio and NEOWIZ (available on PC and via Nintendo Switch) today released a brand new update that adds 9 new player-created items into the game. These brand new in-game weapons were designed by the game’s fans from across the globe, with the top 9 items out of dozens ultimately getting selected by JellySnow to be added into the game.

 
In addition, today Jellysnow and NEOWIZ also announced that another free DLC is slated to be added to the game this May with the addition of the Spider Mine region. In addition, a newly re-arranged soundtrack, a unique Metal Unit desktop background, and a digital artbook will be available for purchase.

 
What Is Metal Unit?
 
Employing classic roguelite elements alongside a persistent, point-based research tree, players will unlock new items and skills with every playthrough. With no shortage of weapons and attacks to choose from, players can easily adapt and gear every session towards their own unique playstyle.
 
Metal Unit includes two difficulty modes, Normal and Hell, tons of difficult bosses to conquer, more than 50 unique enemy types, and hundreds of obtainable items to utilize. Metal Unit is also currently available on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game supports English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
