The Unknown Studio has released a new trailer for Liminal Backrooms, an upcoming co-op horror game set inside the Backrooms.
Liminal Backrooms is built around exploration, puzzle solving and survival. Players must work together to explore unsettling liminal spaces, find clues, solve environmental puzzles and survive hostile entities while learning the rules of each level.
The new trailer focuses on the core gameplay experience. Exploring Level 0 with a team, solving puzzles, facing entities with different behaviours and surviving situations where every mistake can put the whole group at risk.
Every level in Liminal Backrooms is designed around its own rules, dangers and mechanics. Players will need to observe, communicate and adapt if they want to escape.
The story begins on an abandoned offshore platform, where a response team is sent after a power failure. But when the signal disappears, the team finds itself somewhere else: Level 0.
