Inaugural Indie Fan Fest Shares Exclusive Look at Nearly 50 Upcoming Hits Ahead of Steam Next Fest

DENVER, CO, USA – September 24, 2025 – Indie Fan Fest has landed! Today, Digital Bandidos and The MIX presented the first in a new series of online showcases designed to champion indie games with demos arriving in Steam Next Fest, a vital period for developers and publishers everywhere to find their audience ahead of launch.
 
Showcasing just shy of 50 games via YouTube and Twitch, the inaugural Indie Fan Fest will help drive wishlists for a diverse range of titles from innovative game makers all over the world, as well as helping players discover creative new games that will challenge, delight and inspire them.
 
Dozens of the titles shown were presented with exclusive new trailers, with many revealing previously unknown details and never-before-seen gameplay.
 
Among the highlights were two brand-new game announcements:

• Gloom Punks (OneShark, Soft Source): This dark fairytale-themed multiplayer roguelike allows players to sacrifice their character to create a new one with upgraded stats, power, and playstyles
• Froggy Hates Snow (Crying Brick, Digital Bandidos): A survival roguelike in which you dig through the snow, battle eerie creatures, and adapt in a world where warmth is survival and the freezing temperatures aren’t the only thing that can kill

Meanwhile, more than a dozen titles showcased will be playable for the first time during the October edition of Steam Next Fest. Indie Fan Fest also gave exclusive updates on upcoming fan-favorite titles such as Winter Burrow, Cairn, Hotel Architect, Modulus, Enter The Chronosphere, Astrobotanica, Storebound, Blind Descent and more.
