Falling out of line could prove fatal displease the Benevolent Father, but don’t fret! Fellow followers serve as surveillance keep each other accountable along the path to enlightenment.
During the day, follow every rule and adhere to HOPE’s fear-induced transformative behavioral codes: attend education courses, cooperate during interrogations questionnaires, and vote on Star of the Day - a lucky individual handpicked to participate in painful Reformation rituals receive special blessings.
Are we alone? Good.
At night, sneak into hidden Backstage areas throughout HOPE’s haunted halls. Unveil sordid secrets about the cult’s origins, all while avoiding the Benevolent Father who roams the halls.
Befriend fellow skeptics, collect diary entries revealing the mystery behind Neighbor 3279’s arrival, and discover the truth behind HOPE’s existence in a hand-drawn daylight horror tale complemented by composer hirsk’s abstractions of Hong Kong soundscapes.
