Hong Kong, China - May 15th, 2025, Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, a Japanese-style action RPG developed by Taiwanese indie studio 7QUARK and published globally by Game Source Entertainment, a prominent publisher known for bringing Asian-developed games to global audiences, is now officially available on all platforms. To celebrate the launch, an artbook and soundtrack are also now available, along with launch discounts, post-release content details, and a new set of official LINE stickers.

The official launch animation for Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade has premiered on YouTube. This special animation was produced by Bandai Namco Pictures.

Set in a demon-infested Edo-era Japan, Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is a roguelite action RPG where peace is shattered by the return of the Nine-tailed Fox, who leads an army of demons against humanity. Players will take on the role of one of three unique heroes.

  • An immortal ninja, Shigure (voiced by Yoko Hikasa – K-On! [Mio Akiyama], Attack on Titan [Frieda Reiss], Infinite Stratos [Houki Shinonono])

  • An Oni emissary, Sara (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu – K-On! [Azusa Nakano], The Quintessential Quintuplets [Nino Nakano], Oreimo [Kirino Kousaka])

  • A demon samurai, Taketora (voiced by Rikiya Koyama – Fate/Zero [Kiritsugu Emiya], Detective Conan [Kogoro Mouri], Naruto [Yamato])

Each hero wields a unique weapon—a demon blade, dual blades, or a Japanese bow—to fight off relentless demons. Can you survive the endless cycle of life and death and uncover the truth?

Alongside the game’s official launch, Game Source Entertainment is excited to release the digital artbook, original soundtrack, and character songs—offering fans a deeper look into the game’s art and music, on top of a 10% discount on the base game during the first week of release. Players can also purchase the deluxe edition with a 20% discount, offering an opportunity to experience everything at great value.

Post-release, the 7Quark team is committed to post-launch updates to continue fulfilling their Kickstarter promises, starting with six new weapons and character skins for Shigure, Sara, and Taketora. A Boss Rush mode and voice replay feature are also on the way, along with new enemy attack patterns to deepen the challenge.

An official anime short film, produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, is also set to premiere on YouTube at the same time as the game's launch. Be sure not to miss it!
