In Possessor(s) you will play as Luca, a high-schooler trapped in the ruins of Sanzu City. Professor Foss was one of her teachers. What is the mysterious research being performed in the basement laboratories of Luca’s old school, and what will Luca and the demon she's been bonded with, Rhem, discover when they go to investigate?
You needn’t wait long to find out. Players can now take their first steps into Sanzu - the crippled city that serves as a backdrop to the game’s events - in the first publicly playable demo, available now on Steam.
In this demo, players are pitched into a sprawling, flooded city that has become overrun with surreal interdimensional horrors. Play as Luca, a teenage girl who survived a catastrophic demon attack on Sanzu, and Rhem, a demon who earned his freedom by escaping from Sanzu’s deepest laboratories. Other demons escaped, ripping the city apart, and nearly killed them both. Their only hope of survival lies in learning to co-exist.
Pick up platform-fighter inspired combat basics, explore the Skyscraper and Park areas, and watch Luca and Rhem establish their difficult alliance in this early taste of what’s in store when Possessor(s) arrives later in 2025.
A Fractured World
Possessor(s) takes place across the interconnected sprawl of a destroyed mega-city, from collapsed skyscrapers to an abandoned aquarium, all riddled with secrets. Hauntingly beautiful 3D environments form a stunning backdrop over which hand-drawn and animated characters with mysterious sci-fi horror action takes center stage.
