14th May 2025 – Solo indie developer Sudden Kebab Studios is excited to announce the release of the first public demo for Guard Break, a low-poly, turn-based JRPG inspired by the classics of the '90s.
Set in a kingdom teetering on the brink of political unrest, Guard Break follows a cast of flawed but driven characters as they respond to a sudden threat and begin to uncover the conspiracy behind it.
The demo offers approximately 60 to 90 minutes of gameplay from the game's opening, introducing players to the setting, core mechanics, and early character arcs as an uneasy alliance begins to form. Demo progress will carry over to the full release.
