Copenhagen, Denmark – October 16, 2026 – Independent developer Half Past Yellow is delighted to announce the launch of their co-op horror game, Stream Train on Steam! Following a very successful playtest with more than 10,000 players – that helped the team make some adjustments – the Uncanny Valley is ready to welcome fearless players looking for thrills and increasing their popularity..
To celebrate the launch, Stream Train is heavily discounted (35% off) for the next 14 days!

Stream Train challenges up to six players to squad up and take control of an old steam train to explore the cryptid-infested wilderness of the Uncanny Valley. In this unique survival horror experience, players attempt to go viral by livestreaming their rail journey through an abandoned railroad, investigating derelict buildings, and documenting strange creatures.

Survival depends on more than just outrunning the supernatural. Players must keep their audience engaged by capturing content and pulling off pranks, as chatters react in real-time to everything they see. By keeping the content flowing, chatters will keep donations and support rolling in - which are vital for fueling the train and making it through alive. From ghosts and cryptids to angry forest entities, players will face terrors where the golden rule is simple: try not to make them angry, or at least film it when you do.

“We are over the moon to let players explore the Uncanny Valley as of today. The launch is not the end for us as we are planning to make some quality of life improvement to the game as well as bringing more items, locations, and monsters over the next couple of months” said Max Wrighton, Game Director

Key Features:

  • All Aboard!: Up to 6 players can squad up, customize their avatars, and explore the Uncanny Valley at their own pace aboard an old steam train in pursuit of internet virality.
  • Keep Chat Happy: Engage a dynamic livestream chat that reacts to your experiences, issues challenges, makes requests, and rewards your entertainment with crucial donations and support.
  • Don't Die: Explore derelict locations and come face-to-face with cryptids, ghosts and other strange creatures. Some encounters might be dangerous. Others become dangerous when your friends get involved.
  • Maintain the momentum: Put donations to work by stocking up on fuel and gear, then push farther along the railway toward the next stop.
  • Make Bad Decisions Together: Pull reckless stunts, prank your friends and keep the camera rolling when everything inevitably starts going wrong.
