gamescom 2026: The Armada is coming to pirate city builder Corsair Cove

August 26, 2026 - Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment are excited to share what’s next for their pirate city builder, Corsair Cove. During the Find Your Next Game Showcase at gamescom 2026, the team showed off a host of improvements and additional content planned for the game in September.

Batten down the hatches - the next few updates unleash an armada of new content for would-be scallywags, including a new event to rock the boat with an all-out final standoff against those royalist ruffians. That comes alongside incredible dynamic visual improvements across the Seven Seas events, a revitalized event reward experience, and plenty of new features for players to enjoy as they cruise the high seas in search of adventure.

The team has also been listening closely to player feedback. From bug fixes to building placement and UI system improvements, including the ability to name your ships and pirate camps, Limbic Entertainment has rolled out some fantastic quality-of-life improvements.

The game has hit over 200,000 copies sold since it first set sail at the end of July.

Corsair Cove is available now on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥3,980. It is also playable via PC Game Pass.
