World’s Biggest Mobile Games Awards nominations open
Date, Wednesday 22nd February [London, United Kingdom] - The industry's global authority on all things mobile, providing recommendations, reviews, updates, and opinions, Pocket Gamer is proud to announce the annual Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards. Celebrating its 12th year, the awards ceremony will take place on April 20th, bringing together the best of the best in the $92 billion mobile games industry.
The Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards, will recognise the achievements of individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the industry over the past year. With 22 awards categories, including Rising Star, Game of the Year, and Best Developer, the awards aim to showcase the outstanding talent and hard work that drive the industry forward.
The event will also include the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award. This is the only Mobile Games Awards category nominated and voted for by consumers, aiming to recognise the best new game to be released in the past year. The People's Choice Award runs both its submission and voting phases through PocketGamer.com, with the winner revealed on the night of the awards ceremony.
The awards are designed to highlight every aspect of the mobile gaming ecosystem, from game developers to advertising companies. The awards will also pay tribute to the industry legacies that helped shape the field.
The awards will be voted on during the year's first quarter, with nominations now open until March 3rd. Shortlisting voting will occur from March 14th until April 6th. To nominate, simply select the award category and fill out the form. The winners will be revealed at the spectacular gala at BAFTA 195, Piccadilly in London on April 20th. The event will be filled with food, drinks, and great company as the industry's leaders celebrate this past year's achievements.
