War Robots: Frontiers Players Walk to the Sun during First Season of Mech-Shooter

Amsterdam, Netherlands (May 28, 2025) | As the first Season of MY.GAMES’ War Robots: Frontiers draws to a close, new stats and insights are coming in from the Wild Ten in preparation for the launch of the new Power Surge season on June 17th. Since the launch of the game, more than 1 million players have been crushing each other on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, building more than 12 million mechs—roughly the equivalent weight of 23 million M1 Abrams tanks. Players have covered an amazing distance together, with their combined travel distance equal to over 150 million kilometers—around the distance from Earth to the Sun!


Season 2: Power Surge is not only bringing updates to the game. The world of War Robots: Frontiers is growing as the earlier announced Volta Titan-class War Robot scuttles onto the battlefield. This electricity-based monstrosity brings new tricks to the table, and will be unlocked for all players once they reach a certain level. New screenshots and highly detailed renders are now available for an early look after a successful playtest earlier this month. Another highlight of Season 2 is the new Spearhead mode. With a blockade restricting the Wild Ten after the first Season, Power Surge sees Dominions and Pilots finding inventive new ways to get their fuel. In Spearhead, new resource extractors are deployed to the field, and teams must capture and hold them to secure their wealth until they move to a new location. This ‘King-of-the-Hill’ style mode brings a fresh twist to matches and calls for new tactics and mech builds from players.



Season 2 is also the kickoff for the official launch in Japan and Korea, with the game now available on PlayStation and Xbox in addition to its earlier global Steam release.  More detailed information about Power Surge is right around the corner as its launch date approaches on June 17.
