The PlayStation version of the free-to-play open-world RPG "Tower of Fantasy", published by Perfect World Games, has today unveiled detailed content for its collaboration with EVANGELION. The publisher also announced Ver. 3.6 update and physical copy release.
【Evangelion Fantasy】
In the collaboration version, which will launch in the first half of 2024, titled "Evangelion Fantasy", players will embark on a new adventure with Shinji Ikari, Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Rei Ayanami in the Vera Sector, facing the Angels and collectively overcoming the crisis. During the collaboration event, players have the chance to obtain simulacrums of Asuka Shikinami Langley and Rei Ayanami from the event banners.

Tower of Fantasy has meticulously recreated Angels, and the EVA units—EVA-00, EVA-01, and EVA-02—in a 1:1 scale to ensure their authentic appearance in the game's story, providing players with a genuine and impactful experience. Version 3.6 "Beyond Horizons" is set to launch on January 30th. The new map, "Aquaville" will be officially opened, marking the final piece of Domain 9. Unlike the other three regions, Aquaville exhibits a distinct sci-fi style, creating a unique atmosphere for the overall game.

The core of the Aquaville is the "Distant Beacon Cabin 8", with industrial and commercial areas along the interior wall of Cabin 8. Players entering the space cabin for the first time will witness the spectacular sight of a "folded" city. The interior of Cabin 8 features a unique gravity system called the "Gravity Rail", connecting various main city areas distributed along the interior walls. Moving along the Gravity Rail, players will experience the mesmerizing sensation of "spinning in the sky."

【New Flame and Physical Attribute Simulacrum - Plotti】
Plotti, from the Hykros headquarters, Algorithm Ark, serves as the rotating Authorizer, a hacker responsible for maintaining Gesthos and monitoring the operation of Omnium reactors across different time and space dimensions. Her every move adheres to rules and regulations. However, deep within, she harbors a rebellious personality, seemingly possessing a completely different character. Her weapon, "EP-7000 Skyfire" is a hand cannon with dual attributes of flame and physical, set to launch on January 30th.

【Preview of Future Versions】
Tower of Fantasy has released a trailer today, showcasing a glimpse of the blueprint for future game versions. The futuristic city with a tech theme in the video seems to hint at a return to the theme of high-tech urban settings in Version 4.0. However, prominent digitized walls and mosaic lightpoints in some scenes indicate that the story may not unfold in the real world.
