Twinkleby reveals Critters Update at Best Indie Games Spring 2026 Showcase
New wildlife and cute creatures arrive March 9th
Launching on March 9th, beginning during Wholesome Underdogs, the Critters Update fills Twinkleby’s floating islands with curious new company, adding an enchanting burst of wildlife and unexpected little delights.
Fish, seagulls, ducks, bats, bumblebees, butterflies and snails now roam, flutter and drift among the islands. Whether drifting through the skies or quietly exploring the landscape, these critters add charm, warmth and a touch of playful life to Twinkleby’s archipelago.
The Critters Update will be available to Twinkleby players starting March 9th.

Twinkleby is a cozy decoration game where you map out an archipelago of floating islands and build dioramas for society of spacefaring Neighbours. Build neighbourhoods, and decorate a variety of lush islands with your growing collection of items. Furnish houses to attract new residents, figure out what makes them happy, and they’ll reward you in return. Discover antique secrets, decorate, and when you change your mind – evict everyone and throw their furniture into space!
