May 6, 2025 | Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developers CodeManu & Endless Coffee are excited to announce that the survival adventure Tinkerlands will launch in Early Access on May 23, 2025. To celebrate the news, an updated demo showcasing the core features of the Early Access version has been released.
Tinkerlands has already built a strong community following. Its prologue was warmly received, earning a 90% positive rating and drawing around 1,000 concurrent players daily during its launch. Later, the updated demo became one of the most played titles during Steam Next Fest in October 2024, peaking at over 4,000 concurrent players and earning a 93% positive review score.
In Tinkerlands, players take on the role of a shipwrecked survivor stranded on a procedurally generated island within a mysterious archipelago. To survive, they must gather resources, craft weapons and tools, farm, fish, cook, and build a settlement - all while gradually uncovering the secrets hidden across the islands. The ultimate objective is to repair the ship, set sail to new, unexplored territories, confront unique enemies and powerful bosses, and rescue the missing captain.
Tinkerlands offers both a rich solo experience and online co-op support for up to 4 players, encouraging teamwork and exploration in a dynamic procedurally generated world. While it evokes the charm of Terraria, players also often compare it to fan favorites like Necesse, Core Keeper, and Forager.
