An international jury of experts helps select the games that are best suited for their support each year, and some of them are coming to Gamescom 2025, where you can meet the devs and play their games! Roadside Research
 

 

What: Roadside Research is a 1 to 4 player co-op gas station simulator. Except you’re aliens. And undercover. Do very human things like restocking shelves while preparing for the invasion. Just don’t get caught.

Why should you care? Refuel cars, restock shelves, and keep the station running like true pros. Players will have to manage two areas to upgrade while playing: the gas station itself to gather and satisfy customers, and the hidden alien research station to prepare for the invasion. The game has already accumulated 150K wishlists in the short time since its announcement.

Jester: A Foolish Ritual
 

 

What: Jester: A Foolish Ritual is a 1-4 player co-op survival horror where the evil jester chases you around a medieval castle!

Why should you care? Each run plays out differently. The path you take, the choices you make, and the tension you feel will change every time. In co-op, communication is key, especially with proximity voice chat making every sound matter. With the Jester adapting to your progress, and danger increasing the closer you get to the ritual, every step becomes a calculated risk.

What: Last 4 Days is turn-based tactics meets base building in a coordinated battle for survival against a rogue AI army.

Why should you care? Five squads, the same four days. Each battlefield is connected to the others and every decision impacts your odds on the next map. Make smart choices with the limited resources and time you have. Manage your units, fortify your position and think ahead, as what you decide today, you may regret tomorrow.

Purrder in Bruges
 

What: Purrder in Bruges is a 3rd person detective game set in 1845 Bruges where players step into the stylish shoes of Willem Van Eyck, a senior cat detective with a flair for disguises and unorthodox methods. It's silly, fun, ridiculous, and has unexpected narrative depth.

Why should you care? In Purrder, you don’t find the truth by following the rules, you find it by following the spark inside that tells you to do things in your own weird way.
