Suzhou, China – November 2025 – Wildfire Game, the studio behind Eastern Exorcist, invites players to shrink down into the microscopic world of Buddy Bug, a 2D co-op action roguelite arriving soon on Steam.
Set in a hidden insect society built beneath the human city, Buddy Bug turns everyday objects into survival tools — bottle caps, thumbtacks, and lighters become weapons and gadgets re-engineered through insect ingenuity.
Players can dive solo or team up locally (online co-op is in development) to experiment with physics-based combat, elemental reactions, and roguelite buildcrafting that make every run unpredictable.
The upcoming public demo showcases a handcrafted stage inspired by two major biomes from the full game and introduces:
