Share the Wallet, Keep the Winnings: Gamble Hunters Demo Joins Steam Next Fest

Hunt monsters together, gamble the same money and decide whether to upgrade your own gear or pay off the crew’s debt in this casino action roguelite.

Gamble Hunters, the casino action roguelite from ASHUR Inc., is taking part in October’s Steam Next Fest, with a free demo available now on Steam for Windows PC. Playable solo or in online co-op for up to four players, it combines 60-second monster hunts with casino games and a debt the crew must repay.

Shared money. Personal winnings. Everyone’s debt.

Players become space pirates, fighting waves of monsters to earn Rupees. In multiplayer, those earnings go into one shared wallet. Everyone bets from the same pool, but the Gold each player wins belongs to them.

That turns a trip to the casino into a race for a personal share of the team’s earnings. Players can juggle multiple casino games at once, or shove a friend away from a slot machine to take their place. Every bet draws from the money the crew earned together.

Winning is only half the problem. Gold can be spent on weapon upgrades to help tackle tougher encounters, but the crew still has a repayment deadline. Pour everything into personal progression and there may not be enough left to settle the debt. Fail to repay it, and the run ends in bankruptcy.

The tension comes from two goals that do not always line up: getting stronger yourself and keeping the whole crew afloat.
