Developers from GameFormatic along with Frozen Way as a publisher are proud to announce a brand new game Salvage Shop Simulator. Players will be able to bid on the recovered storage containers to buy stock for their pawn shop. They’ll need to gather the valuables, clean them up and sell them at their shop. Resource management is the most important part of the game, choosing between shop upgrades, auctions and necessary payments will constantly test the management skills of players.
Along with the reveal of the game the developers are announcing a free Demo that offers players the main gameloop of the game with:
- Container auction
- Bidding against NPCs
- Cleaning and appraisal of the bought items
- Store ownership
To build anticipation and to showcase the game, the team has released a short teaser highlighting all of the most important features of the game. All announcements and further details will be shared on the official Frozen Way Discord server.

About Salvage Shop Simulator
Salvage Shop Simulator is a new simulation game with elements of resource and shop management. In this game, players take care of their own pawn shop and attend container auctions. Every container was salvaged from the water. Compete against NPC bidders and secure the future for their pawn shops.
After winning an auction players will need to clean and restore their newly acquired items. Every item will need to be put through necessary preparation before it can be sold further. But making a profit requires knowledge of the market.
Earned money can be spent not only on the new auctions but also on shop upgrades. Investing in decorations, better equipment and more retail space might attract more customers into the shop. All of that and more will be available for the players in Salvage Shop Simulator.
As of now developers have released a free Demo on Steam where players can experience a vertical slice of the gameplay loop, including:
- 1 auction zone
- 1 container to bid on
- Basic cleaning and item restoration
- Ability to sell items
- Access to the item appraisal area
- Core gameplay loop
