Rise of the Fianna unveils Kickstarter campaign

Celtic fantasy CRPG was revealed during the latest PC Gaming Show.

Paris, France, January 29th, 2025 —Hawskwell, the French studio behind the upcoming Celtic fantasy CRPG title Legends of Awen: Rise of the Fianna, has launched a Coming Soon page for their upcoming Kickstarter campaign today. Players can now register their interest to learn more when the campaign starts officially.
The campaign will help the studio expand the game scope, including additional narrative choices and add more depth and impact to the consequences of players' actions.

Rise of the Fianna aims to deliver a fresh take on Celtic myths where bards weave spells through song, Shee magic lingers, sacred warpaint grants power, and legendary weapons channel the spirits of ancient heroes.
The game offers a brand new setting and an encounter system where players can engage in turn-based combat encouraging strategic use of the environment, or choose instead to get their way through negotiation, charm, or intimidation. Meaningful choices are built into the character progression, eventually leading to multiple possible replays. 

Players can show their support by going to the Kickstarter page, adding Legends of Awen: Rise of the Fianna to their Steam wishlist and following Hawkswell on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky), to stay up to date with the latest news.
