PLAYDATE CATALOG GAMES OF JULY 2023: GORGEOUS SHOOT 'EM UP GUN TRAILS, AN MP3 PLAYER?!, PLUS 7 MORE GAMES & APPS MAKE UP THE CATALOG RELEASES FOR JULY

PORTLAND, JULY 18, 2023 -  Back with more neat games and apps for the game industry’s #1 square and yellow handheld*, Panic is happy to share the latest group of games and apps arriving later today to Catalog - their curated on-device and web-based games store for Playdate - as well as recap the games that came to Catalog earlier in July. 

One notable title launching today as part of Catalog is the fast and gorgeous shoot 'em up (schmup), Gun Trails by Yoyogi Games. Its detailed art and fluid graphics have left even Panic surprised by what they are accomplishing on the device. As a short shipping update, Panic continues to ship Group 4 of 5 of their Playdate pre-orders that began going out to customers last month.
