Built directly around community feedback gathered since launch, the new update introduces a wide range of improvements across gameplay systems, balance, UI clarity, progression flow, and overall user experience.

One of the most requested additions - multiple save slots - is now fully implemented, allowing players to manage different runs and profiles independently. The update also significantly improves the pacing and readability of combat through expanded visual feedback systems, clearer action responses, improved loot flow, and enhanced boss encounter presentation.

The update also includes a major overhaul to SPRINT mechanics, multiple balance passes on bosses, artifacts, and CRAMP interactions, along with numerous bug fixes and localization improvements.

Key Highlights of the Update:

System Improvements
• Multiple Save Slots added
• Skip Cutscenes option added in settings
• Faster loading screens

Gameplay Changes
• SPRINT overhaul: normal SPRINT no longer discards CRAMPs
• Curo rewards separated from loot reward options
• Confirm button added during loot selection
• Improved combat visual feedback across multiple systems
• Better clarity for enemy innate abilities and action results
• Distinct visuals for Cursed Artifacts
• Perfect SPRINT feedback added
• Boss music now properly ends after defeating bosses
• Improved descriptions and gameplay readability

List of changes also includes balance overhaul, multiple bug fixes, localization improvements and general optimization.

Handmancers is a first-person Rock-Paper-Scissors roguelite deckbuilder where every encounter becomes a tactical mind game built around magical hand signs, devastating synergies, and strategic manipulation of your deck. Through Gems, Artifacts, Corruption systems, and increasingly chaotic encounters, players continuously reshape their build to survive deeper runs.

The developers at 58BLADES plan to continue expanding Handmancers throughout Early Access with additional content, balance updates, gameplay systems, and community-driven improvements leading toward the full 1.0 release.
