São Paulo, July 7th, 2025 – Mullet MadJack, the fast-paced cyber-anime FPS, has been crowned Best Brazilian Game at Gamescom Latam 2025, the premier gaming event in Latin America.
The award, announced on April 30th, recognizes the most outstanding games in the national scene, considering criteria such as innovation, technical quality, and community impact. With its 90s anime-inspired aesthetics, high-octane gameplay, and unconventional storytelling, Mullet MadJack has captured the attention of both the public and critics since its launch.
“We’ve been on this road for 10 years... and I’d like to keep making fantasy games where billionaires pay for their crimes. I’m really happy, especially because the competition was tough. Our Brazil is making excellent games,” says Alessandro Martinello, developer of Mullet MadJack.
Released in May 2024 on Steam, the game has gained international acclaim for its unique concept: the player must eliminate enemies every 10 seconds to stay alive, in a world ruled by billionaire robots and influencers who broadcast everything live.
Now available on Steam and Xbox, Mullet MadJack continues to gather an active and engaged community, while the studio works on expanding its universe and possible updates.
