Finnish developer DragDrop Games has reached 10,000 wishlists on Steam just five days after announcing Moon Sweepers, its cooperative lunar cleanup game launching on 23 October 2026. In Moon Sweepers, players join an underfunded lunar cleanup crew tasked with cleaning the Moon. Their starting equipment? A toothbrush.
The Moon isn’t going to clean itself. Apparently 10,000 people agree.
Small budget, growing crew
The Lunar Surface Department, conveniently abbreviated to LSD, has a clear vision: a clean Moon. Providing suitable equipment appears to have been a lower priority. With 10,000 potential recruits now on the waiting list, the equipment budget remains unchanged.
Up to 16 players can join the same crew, dividing the workload or cleaning together. Whether your friends become dedicated employees or an additional management problem is something you’ll have to discover for yourself.
Collect. Deposit. Earn. Upgrade.
Every shipment funds the next step. Gather dust, deliver it to a depot and get paid. Then spend your earnings on equipment that makes the next stretch of lunar housekeeping a little less ridiculous. Place depots near your work, expand your operation and watch the dusty surface become clean as you go. The results are visible. So is the patch your friend insists they’ll finish later.
Key features
Solo or online multiplayer for up to 16 players: Take on the cleanup yourself or recruit a crew.
Visible cleaning progress: Leave a cleaner lunar surface behind with every pass.
Equipment progression: Trade your humble beginnings for better tools and more carrying capacity.
A growing operation: Place depots and put cleaning vehicles to work.
An underfunded space mission: Humanity reached the Moon. The cleaning budget barely did.
