Indie developer Parramatta Games Studios has today announced the release of a new announcement trailer and a publicly available demo for Managate. Available now on Steam, the demo provides the first hands on opportunity for players to experience Managate's unique blend of side-scrolling action RPG combat, strategic base defense, and creature-capturing mechanics. The new trailer showcases the game's beautifully crafted pixel-art world and frantic, spell-slinging action.


In Managate, players take on the role of a powerful spellcaster tasked with defending their base from relentless waves of griffins, dragons, and other fantastical creatures. The core of the game lies in its unique gameplay loop: survive the onslaught, then venture out to capture a variety of allies, including elves, dwarves, and orcs. Each captured creature offers unique abilities, from automating resource collection to joining the front lines of defense, allowing players to strategically build and upgrade their fortress between attacks.


The game is set in a fantasy world brought to life with pixel art animations. As players progress, they will gather resources to fund research into powerful upgrades and discover new spell effects.
