The 35-minute real-time livestream has marked a new set of milestones for HoYoverse's real-time animation, rendering, and dynamic simulation technologies. The stream also featured new updates to Lumi's appearance, performance, and interactions, showcasing the evolution and upgrade of the overall character design and supporting technologies. Lumi's latest livestream, "The Amazing Book - When Our Paths Collide," has achieved significant breakthroughs in terms of both technology and content. Empowered by advanced motion capture technology and an expression system, Lumi's facial expressions and body movement have ascended to a new level with meticulous detail. Whether it's engaging in casual chat or doing a performance, her fine-tuned expressions, real-time voice, as well as more subtle movements like breathing deeply have made her appear more lifelike than ever. Thanks to the real-time dynamic simulation and rendering capabilities, Lumi's stream achieved a great leap in quality in terms of its scenes, costumes and interactions. She appeared in a brand-new outfit, sporting a T-shirt with a pleated skirt, and showcased her outfit's intricate textures and dynamic details by moving gracefully in front of the camera.
