Warsaw, Poland (June 8, 2025) — People Can Fly is excited to invite players to try the Lost Rift Demo during Steam Next Fest, which will take place from June 9th to 16th. In addition, we have revealed our new trailer showcasing a wider range of PvE and PvPvE gameplay that will be available in the demo.
Lost Rift is an upcoming first-person survival shooter that merges base-building, cooperative PvE, and intense PvPvE gameplay. The game is set in a mysterious archipelago where players wash up on the island of Pioneers’ Landing, each beginning their journey to survive, explore, conquer, and progress.
The Lost Rift demo provides a limited slice of what to expect at Early Access launch, including:
- Solo/Co-Op PvE & PvPvE Gameplay: Survive solo, or with friends in teams up to five in a cooperative, PvE mission-driven gameplay on your home island. Gather resources and craft armor, weapons, and supplies to prepare for high-stakes PvPvE expeditions where you risk your lives to extract with rare loot needed to progress.
- Environmental Interaction & Dynamic Weather: Face dynamic weather events like storms, rain, fog, fires, and lightning strikes that impact gameplay mechanics and survivability.
- Survival Sandbox and Base Building: Construct unique shelters using a modular tile system, along with stations to craft, repair, and upgrade to solidify your survival chances.
- Explore Exotic Islands: Traverse varied biomes, from jungles and beaches to stations and outposts, each offering unique challenges and opportunities for exploration.
Not included in the Demo.
- Final Art: The demo/game will feature some placeholder assets known as grey boxes due to an early focus on core gameplay mechanics over visual polish.
