Lost Lures is a stylized fishing game set in the Finnish wilderness, built around how fishing actually works. The game focuses on observation, learning, and decision-making rather than reflexes or constant action. Weather conditions and time of day affect fish behavior, and success comes from understanding what each species wants, not from quick reactions.
Different fish species behave differently, prefer different lures, and live in different types of spots. Players read conditions, adjust their approach, and learn from every catch. The game includes solo and online multiplayer with shared missions, a progression system called Sisu that unlocks new spots and gear, a lures and gear shop, and a map that tracks catch history.
The playtest is open from the start of development. Hatfuls Creative is a small team of enthusiastic fishermen who built the game they always wanted to play. Player feedback is actively used to shape mechanics and systems while they are still flexible.
