São Paulo, October 22nd, 2025 – The legendary game developer John Romero, creator of DOOM, Quake, and Wolfenstein 3D, streamed live on Twitch on October 17th, 2025, playing the hit Brazilian indie game Mullet MadJack. During the live stream, Romero praised the game’s intense gameplay and retro style.

Mullet MadJack is a first-person shooter with roguelike elements, developed by Hammer95 Studios and published by Epopeia Games. Released on May 15th, 2024, for PC, the game has been widely praised for its intense action and 90s anime-inspired visuals. It recently received a crossover with Ultrakill, introducing the new Boss Rush mode. With over 8.000 reviews on Steam and 99% approval, Mullet MadJack has also won multiple awards, including Best Game of the Year at Gamescom Latam 2025.
