We at game studio ExcelFish are excited to announce that we launched the Steam store page for our debut title, *Lapistasia*, on November 12.
KEY FEATURES:
Lapistasia is a Puzzle x Deckbuilder Roguelike game heavily influenced by the viral success of *Balatro*.
The game's defining feature is the ability to unleash truly massive damage through the synergy of Blocks and Relics.
### The Blocks and Their Functions
The gameplay is straightforward: it is an 8x8 block puzzle, similar to titles like Block Blast. Blocks come in a wide variety, from high-damage offensive and healing blocks to blocks that grant you Coins.
Furthermore, there are also advanced Blocks, such as those that can be stacked on top of existing Blocks and specialized Blocks that can fundamentally break the 8x8 rules of the grid.
### Relics: Unlocking Game-Breaking Scaling
Relics are crucial, often multiplying a Block's attack power once their varied activation requirements are met.
Relics range from simple to difficult to activate, with the general rule being: the harder the condition, the more powerful the effect.
However, profound power isn't limited to complex feats; combining two easily met conditions can create significant synergy. For example, pairing a "Coin-generating Relic" with a "Relic that boosts its effect after you purchase an item" allows players to rapidly scale their abilities.
