Kyiv, Ukraine, June 11, 2025 - Twigames is humbled to announce that Hollow Home, a story-driven RPG with a 3D isometric view set in a Ukrainian city under siege, has officially started its journey on Kickstarter.
Hollow Home follows Maksym, a 14-year-old boy. Alone in an occupied city, he must navigate the wreckage of his world, both physical and emotional. There are no weapons. No battles. Just survival, hard choices, and a haunting sense of what’s been lost.
While the game features survival elements such as scavenging, crafting, and stealth, it is primarily driven by its narrative core. Hollow Home is a story about the war's emotional and psychological toll on civilians. Inspired by the real events in Mariupol. Hollow Home aims to offer a meaningful and respectful experience that honors the resilience of those affected by conflict, fosters empathy, and preserves the memory of a city torn apart.
Beyond its artistic and testimonial value, Hollow Home is also a bold statement on the power of video games to tell difficult, necessary stories. After three years of development, the game is now on Kickstarter to secure the resources needed to meet the high-quality standard to reach a global audience.
