2025 is off to a big start for indie publisher First Break Labs as they usher in the new year with Pirate Software to fundraise for The Humane Society. Moving Pieces Interactive’s Entropy Survivors receives its first big update in celebration of the Lunar New Year and The Fine Arc’s Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef upcoming update brings new Lovecraftian lore, upgrades, and more.

Entropy Survivors Update

Entropy Survivors receives its first big update on Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and PlayStation 5 for the Lunar New Year Celebration. The update includes Endless Missions, limited-time decorations and dyes, and more. Welcome the Year of the Snake in style with lantern decorations throughout the game’s hub and unlock two new limited-time dyes.

Starting today, players looking for a never-ending set of challenges can now play procedurally remixed levels ad infinitum. The new Endless Missions portal opens up midway through the game and provides an increasingly difficult parade of new missions to conquer. Compete with fellow Survivors on the Endless Mission Leaderboards to see who can beat the toughest planets the multiverse has to offer. Beat Endless Missions to unlock brand new dyes and perk point challenges. Look back at previous missions in the new Mission History, unlocked by beating a mission on World 2. For the completionists, exchange collectibles for gold within a new menu on the skill tree that is unlocked the first time you complete Entropy Survivors.
