ATLANTA – SEPTEMBER 13 – Today and for two weeks, Paladins has started a unique Refer-a-friend program where players receive fantastic rewards simply by playing together. Full details can be found in this blog post.
The Realm is extending an informal invitation for all aspiring Champions to join the action with the guidance of an experienced friend.
Right now and until September 27, when a Paladins veteran and a new or returning player party up and play, both are rewarded with a Flair and Style Chest after 5 matches, a Golden Cache Chest after 10, and the intimidating Pale Eyes Frost Dragon Mount after 15 matches. This new mount is exclusive to the Refer-a-friend event.
Alongside entirely new accounts, anyone who has not played Paladins in at least a month can benefit from this event in the same way as a new player.
"Whether you've never tried Paladins before or haven't played in a while, this is the event for you,” says Aaron Eldred, user acquisition specialist in charge of the Refer-a-friend initiative. “Playing with friends is always fun and earning rewards while doing it is better. Paladins is all about community, so we developed this program hoping that it will help renew and create even more friendships between players."
