FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Wales, UK, 5 November 2026 — Deceptive Games Ltd has released ESCAPE: The Cabin on PC via Steam. The first-person horror escape-room game features over 70 puzzles with clues, item locations and solutions that change between playthroughs. Its standard price is US$11.99, with a 30% discount available at launch.
Players wake inside a remote wooden cabin with no memory of how they arrived. Locked doors and concealed compartments stand between them and a way out, while notes and objects reveal the identity of their captor and the reasons behind their imprisonment.
Randomisation keeps familiar puzzles from becoming a list of remembered answers. Returning players must search for clues again, locate the items they need and work out the solutions presented in their current game. Knowing the cabin helps, but a code that opened a lock on a previous attempt may no longer work.
Players can inspect, combine and dismantle objects as they tackle interconnected puzzles, from cracking safes and deciphering codes to repairing machinery and opening hidden pathways. Progress depends on observing the environment and connecting information found in different parts of the cabin.
“Randomise the puzzles, the clues and the solutions, and suddenly every run is a new escape room,” said Gavin Powell, Managing Director and Game Director at Deceptive Games Ltd.
