August 13th, 2026 - Shanghai, China - The Naval shoot-em-up mobile game, Azur Lane, has officially launched its new event "Depths of the Astrarium". This update introduces five new Eagle Union shipgirls, including three powerful Super Rare shipgirls, along with a wealth of new skins and a variety of rewards available for a limited period. The event will run from August 13th to August 26th. Commanders are encouraged to join in the event before it ends on August 26th at 11:59 PM (UTC-7). To top it all off, the anniversary milestone will be commemorated with a spectacular offline event in Los Angeles.

Event Updates and Rewards
To celebrate the 8th anniversary, Azur Lane is bringing Commanders a series of thrilling events loaded with generous rewards. A Special Login event features daily bonuses, culminating in an exclusive opportunity to choose one of eight fan-favorite shipgirls after 7 days of logins. Furthermore, all players will receive abundant anniversary rewards, featuring 900 Gems, 1 Promise Ring, and various essential resources.
In the "Sealane Protector" mini-game, active Commanders can collect the crucial Retrofit Items needed to upgrade Belfast to her highly anticipated Ultra Rare (Retrofit) form—an ultimate anniversary surprise sure to delight everyone.

New Shipgirls and Construction
Five new Eagle Union shipgirls are making their debut in this event. By clearing event stages, Commanders will accumulate PT. Reaching specific PT milestones will unlock the Elite shipgirl John Rodgers as a reward. Additionally, accumulated PT can be traded for various prizes, including the Super Rare shipgirl, Collett. She can also be obtained through Stage drops or Limited Construction (without rate-up). Meanwhile, the Limited Construction pool offers a rate-up for the remaining newcomers: Super Rare shipgirls, Bennington and Vicksburg, alongside the Elite shipgirl, Harrison.
New Arrivals in the Event Shop
This event introduces an abundance of new skins, featuring three special dynamic skins: Vicksburg's 'Dazzling Diva of the Raceway', Fritz Rumey's 'Verabredung in the Night Breeze', and Essex's 'Telepathy Training'. On top of that, commanders are also getting 'Full-Auto Maintenance' for Collett, 'Accidental Pursuit Race?' for Harrison, and 'Grid Girl's Interval' for John Rodgers.
The standout designs are three new L2D+ skins: "Sunshine Chaser" for Bennington, "The Laid-Back Navigator" for Indomitable, and "Cheering For You Alone" for Musashi.
The event also welcomes back a bunch of popular skins from previous events, giving Commanders another opportunity to obtain favorites they may have missed. Highlights of the rerun include the L2D+ "Steamy Therapy" for Bois Belleau and the L2D+ "Sweet Evening Milk" for Anchorage.

In celebration of its 8th anniversary, Azur Lane is thrilled to announce a spectacular on-site event in Los Angeles as a sincere token of appreciation to the dedicated Commanders who have supported the shipgirls throughout the years.
