Diplomacy is Not an Option is a base-building survival RTS with an active pause, set in a medieval fantasy realm. Players step into the well-worn shoes of the minor Lord, forced to fight…like, all the time! And his enemies always come in hordes! Up to 25,000 enemies can attack your castle at a single time, so you have to master the arts of economy, warfare and magic to have a chance to survive.

Diplomacy is Not an Option has received good reviews from critics with 85% positive reviews on Steam and 81 Metacritic score.

The update features:

  • Map Editor, allowing you to

  • change landscape – either by random generation or manually;

  • change horde settings – choose when enemies attack, their numbers, etc.;

  • change mission objectives – make players defend or attack, survive or prosper;

  • Steam Workshop integration for sharing and downloading community maps;

  • additional game improvements.

Diplomacy is Not an Option will receive further development support. Future updates will bring improvements to the Map Editor and more levels in Endless Mode, Sandbox and Challenges.
