3 November 2026: Dionous Games, an indie publisher of point-and-click adventures and narrative-driven games, is participating in the Point & Click Showcase (https://pointandclickshowcase.com, #PointAndClickShowcase), a themed Steam event running 2 to 9 November 2026. Three titles from the Dionous Games catalog are featured in the event: Cult Vacui, Theropods, and Escape from 8-Bit High.
Cult Vacui, developed by LBRTY games and released 9 April 2026, is a point-and-click adventure with survival horror elements set in the late 19th century on the island of Barra, Scotland. Players take the role of a janitor hired to maintain the Gladstone family estate the day after a blood ritual, with every in-game action consuming time in a countdown. The game is available on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/3564670.
Theropods, developed by Lost Token and released 20 August 2026 for Windows, Mac, and Linux, is a prehistoric point-and-click adventure presented in a pixel art style. Its tagline says it plainly: "A prehistoric adventure, pixel by pixel." Players can find Theropods on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/1091870.
Escape from 8-Bit High, developed by Duck Made Of Wood and released 29 September 2026 for Windows, Mac, and Linux (rated PEGI 12), rounds out the trio with a tongue-in-cheek adventure set at Cloudydale High School. A cursed cassette awakens a malevolent Pomodore 64 computer and its army of 8-bit villains, and players switch between the three members of rock trio Blueberry Finn (Hank, Duck, and Alex) and use a Music Battle System to see them through.
