FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FINLAND — September 2026 — Finnish indie game studio Pepperbox Studios is happy to announce that its dark deckbuilding roguelike Dice of Kalma has officially surpassed 1 million downloads worldwide across Steam, iOS, and Android.
In Dice of Kalma, players enter the Underworld and play a deadly game of dice against Kalma, the grim guardian of the dead. Players build a deck of powerful skulls, roll the dice, and unleash game-breaking combos to defeat Death himself!
The milestone comes as Dice of Kalma continues to receive new content and updates. The latest “Silent Skulls” update introduced new ways to customize and challenge runs, including new costumes, new skulls, and deadlier challenges.
Pepperbox Studios has also launched “Cursed Skulls,” a short animated lore series that explores the dark world of Dice of Kalma. The series is now available on YouTube.
The studio plans to release additional updates for Dice of Kalma later this year. Review keys are available on request.
