Though he is a villain, Morkull is the hero of this story and he knows it; he also has a great sense of humor that is showcased with fourth wall breaks, pop culture references, and a lighthearted atmosphere. Not only is Morkull aware that he’s in a video game called Morkull Ragast’s Rage, he’s aware the team at Disaster Games created him and that you, the player, are controlling him. That’s why he looks to you to help him escape Ragast and take over the world.
Morkull Ragast’s Rage is inspired and influenced by traditional animated films and your favorite two-dimensional games, which is why it’s completely hand-drawn and animated frame-by-frame. The game’s beautiful art style brings its cast of characters and world to life alongside a combat system that invites experimentation.
